Seeking guidance please: I have to cut lots of inspection hatches in pine tongue and groove.
Have a good Makita corded machine, and been using cheap, unbranded wood cutting blades off ebay.
They go blunt in a a few minutes, less than two yards cut, then just get hot, burn the wood, and stop moving, and the teeth are rounded off and just get binned.
Is it possible to buy good quality ones, which don't go blunt so quick? I'm a multitool virgin. But I tend to use old English tools and sharpen them myself when I'm wood butchering.
Or is this par for the course, and I should just buy in bulk, and bin a blade every five minutes? Just feels wrong...thanks
