But you get 5 of each type of battery in Poundland.I have the Lidl one and it kills a battery every 3 months. My old Mitutoyu also kills batteries by it was given to me so I keep it for sentimental reasons
I remember someone here (?) saying to lock the slide when you put digital gauges back in the draw to stop them waking up every time you open the draw or bash seven shades out of something on your bench.Not forgetting a poundland battery pack...which has 4 battery's per pack that fits the cheap gauges so that puts to bed the battery going flat problem

I find that my cheap digi always needs a battery when I pick it up , i never remember to take it out , but my Mitu never seems to need a battery ,, strange but true.
