One of the reasons for getting the TIG welder was to repair cracks in my bike frame...
I've machined up a backing plug from steel, walls are 2mm thick, it's a nice sliding fit with an M10 thread in the top for slide hammer in case it gets stuck...
Intention is to clean off all paint etc then drill ends of cracks and V out slightly. Anything else I should be looking out for?
