I was looking at these yellow ones just before posting this. Maybe they’re more flexible than the applicators that come with Upol? Thanks.

Was thinking along the lines of rubber. Turns out today that we had some rubber strips delivered. Don’t know what they’re for? I’ll ask if I can have some if there’s any going spare. I think rubber will work like magic. I have some damage on the inside of the boot to smooth out before painting. Very curved in steps towards the inside of the panel.rubber is best if you can get some ,, synthetic rubber floor tiles and sand the edges round

I’ve dent pulled using a slide hammer. There’s very little filler on there. Did the same on the outside of the boot and it’s held up ok. The bodyshop that repaired it didn’t pull the dent out anywhere near enough. Their repair cracked because the filler was way too thick. Mine has stood the test of time. I’m doing it again because I was using crappy cheap paints, barcoat and too many layers of paint. Told to do it only using 2K epoxy etc.Is that a boot lid?
It will crack and shatter when you slam the boot
