It would if it wasn't sucking carp out of my plasma table till I've enough money for a suckier one! I could re purpose it to see what the results were like I suppose. Only for testing. I'm not sure the food people would see the funny size of plasma dross dust being sprayed through artisan maltthe fan i sent you would be a fair starting point?
Cheers. I built something like that minus the heat to go on a mixer to screen topsoil in my garden! It may work fine with smaller mesh for grains......this as a closed roller system with ducted air into the top
as it rolls it drys and keeps everything flowing dries quicker this way
the rocket stove reference gives indirect heat through air tubes and cheap to run
Yup I'd think so. I don't want to create issues that don't need to be there. Not sure he would like the idea of putting 'diesely goodness' on the ingredients label

Rocket stove is designed to give out maximal heat over a short time: (20mins?) to heat a large thermal mass, rather than a lower heat output over the course of several hours?
A bit late to the party here! Thanks very much for all the input. It’s given me plenty of ideas we can explore to see what works the best. I may test a few and see.
I’ll keep the thread posted as to how it goes
