So I thought this would be the place
I’ve got a job on at the moment for a distillery I’ve built quite a bit of kit for over time. He wants to malt his own grain. We have worked out the whole process bar the hot air source hence I’m here picking the brains of the learned folk on here!
No idea about flow rate yet as it’s in the design stage and it’s not an exact science as such but it’ll need a decent flow of air which is adjustable. Via a pot is fine. Gentle heat is better than coarse blasting heat like a space heater, and a fan to move it. It’ll be ducted but that’s the easy bit.
I was looking at in duct heating elements but I’d need to put a blower inline as well I’d think? Anyone got experience of these units please?
