I’m not gonna be around to organise trades, so while it may be best to run a project yourself if I’m gonna pay for this building I’m gonna have to be working off all over the shop.
Not interested in cheap or cutting corners. That happened when this shed was built and it’s crap.
I measured today at 17m long and 8m wide internally. I’d like to make that 20 x 10.
Currently there is a lean to on the side, I want to build that enclosed, 10x5.
That will house a metal rack, guillotine and saw.
I’ve got 2.8m to the eaves, I’d like about 4m.
One roller shutter. Two man doors.
Kitchen and Bathroom already present in current building but horrible, made of junk collected.
Will have a proper heavy duty lino or poured resin floor in there.
Exactly my thoughts. If it’s not right, then it gets fixed before the job is signed off.Brad would clear site,
Let contractor do site work he then has what he wants to work to + if it's wrong it is his problem not an argument

Someone will be onsite to keep an eye on things.
Seems expensive for c35 Ed, we get that for £100 a cube.

That was including VAT, I can't remember exactly what the spec was, might have been C40, will try and remember next time I'm over at the farm to check the invoice.Seems expensive for c35 Ed, we get that for £100 a cube.

Ed, that walking broom stick thing ...... was it a 3 mtr wide magi float with a small Robin engine on the top end of the stick? Also can you tell me when you had it laid down . Can you PM me with the details of the concreting team you used . ..I'm at the west end of the M4 & weighing up the pro's & cons of a 5x 20 mtr reinforced poured slab done with a ready mix , pump and a couple of guys to smooth it off .
