In an attempt to organise, or at least reduce some clutter in the workshop, I'm needing some drawers for storing/organising the ever increasing collection of lathe and mill tools/inserts/holders that seem to be gathering on various shelfs/surfaces/parts bins.
Ideally I'd like a decent quality drawer cabinet with mostly shallow drawers, as most stuff is in pretty small boxes, and I'd like to be able to lay it out in sections, rather than have compartments with stuff stacked up.
If I had the money, I'd get some nice Bott/Euroslide/££££ brand, but funds really won't stretch that far just now, and I've not seen anything reasonably priced second hand.
Top end of the budget, Sealey do a 700mm deep cabinet, which can be found for about £700 new. The drawers are rated at 100kg, but they've got internal dividers, which I'm never keen on, as they always seem to end up in the wrong place.
Other option is the BigDug own brand, as the do the likes of this - https://www.bigdug.co.uk/workshop-w...lar-garage-7-drawer-cabinet-680mm-wide-p20039
But the drawers are only rated at 20kg. I probably won't put anywhere near that in them, but the low weight rating makes me wonder about long term durability.
Are there any other options worth looking at?
