SWMBO is a great navigator. Well she found me.
I found it quite stressful arriving in a small town at 1:00 in the morning and the streets are dead or the only folk I can see cannot speak English. I have a bit French, a smattering of German but anything else is sign language... Scandinavians always seemed to speak better English than me.
Portsmouth, Plymouth . . . close, both start with a 'P'.Not all women of course, Mrs Bruce etc, but quite an astonishing achievement nonetheless..
An old friend of mine is driving down to the Isle of Wight, with her mate, from London, to get the ferry from Portsmouth, which the ladies had already booked online. London to Pompey is about 75 miles.
They left London early evening.. and just phoned me from *Plymouth* . they are very smart chicks in other regards, how is that even possible?
That is what she told you, and you believed her?My wife got lost in Lakeside Shopping Centre. She couldn't find the car park or level where I dropped her off 1 hour earlier...
