I have recently chopped a doorway into the back of my garage, which unfortunately means I had to remove the 2" pipe that takes the condensate drainings across to a drain outside.
At the moment I just have a bucket stuck underneath it, that will obviously need to be emptied occasionally come the colder weather, but will this fail on the annual inspection, is it a safety feature? I have the British Gas Homecare cover with annual inspection.
There is nothing coming out of it at present as the heating hasn't been on for four months and we rarely use it for hot water.
