I do a lot of cycling I commute every day and my current bike has just expired, could be repaired but far past economical repair.
I find it most cost effective to get a mid range bike, get the best from it and replace once the main components are worn out. Cycling in all weathers plus the sea air dose nothing for longevity.
So the time has come to find a replacement usually a simple procedure, go online find the best spec last season bike with the biggest discount simple. Not this year with everything that has gone on it seems to have created a worldwide bike shortage, with some products not going to be back in stock until January!
Has anyone been bike shopping recently and experienced these issues first hand? I’m going to try some shops tomorrow but it doesn’t look like I’m going to have much success.
