As per the title, I have a diana 27 that I'm rebuilding for my nephew. As part of this I need to touch up some blue on the main action and totally re-blue the barrel because the phosphoric acid wash I used on the barrel rust has resulted in a nice shiny, blue-less barrel now.
What are my options?
My local plating shop does manganese phosphate and oil (aka parkerizing), would that be a sensible option for the barrel (with the bore plugged obviously).
