To be fair despite the Bohler being only a 2 roll feeder it's actually one of the best multi processes I've seen on aluminium.. hands in the air, 100% honest. In terms of weight, its duty cycle, features and ease of use I'd say it comes up trump's against most of its competition.Gys multipearl 4xl 4 roll drive cheaper and I’d go 4 roll all day. And for that money it’s not far off the EWM picomig and I could do the thermal-arc 252 Fabricator for not much more. Competition is fierce in that price range.
Parweld have never made machines and definitely never claim their machines are UK made. They're made in WTL's factory in China, same as ESAB, Same as Thermal Arc, same as Cigweld (the list goes on)Thanks very much for your wisdom guys.
I think I'll look for a nice little AC DC Tig and this will save me a lot of money.
Rebel 205 would be a dream but cost is absurd ...
There is a Paraweld XTM 211 DI multi 4 in1
But those are some Chinese units stamped with UK stickers and apparently they no longer make those. Paraweld moved to making torches only now. . .
Back to square one lol
Tom are you working for welder supplies ?To be fair despite the Bohler being only a 2 roll feeder it's actually one of the best multi processes I've seen on aluminium.. hands in the air, 100% honest. Yep, I do indeed. Welding Supplies Direct in Telford. There'll be an English video about it coming soon. Bohler Welding are one of the biggest welding companies in the world, owned by Voestalpine group. The machines are made in Italy by Selco who they have just acquired. Backup is in the UK with their UK depot in Oldbury.Tom are you working for welder supplies ?
Looked on you tube nothing about this bohler is in English. Don't speak German at all apart from few swear words unfortunately
Does this machine has a brand behind ?
UK service ? UK parts ? Or all dealing with Germany in case if I need help ?
Do you store it ? Tig torch and extra bits for it available ?
Cheers .

We stock it yeah, no TIG torch is included as standard.
I wondered what Selco were up to machine wise. Do they make all of Bohlers machines Tom?
It will indeed. Drop me a PM and I'll sort you out a package price.Ok.
Will it take the Euro connection Tig ?
Do you do discount for bulk orders ?
If I went for the whole package ?
Gas bottle , regulators, true colour mask , Tig torch , and whatever else is needed to get me started ?
Cheers
They do indeed. Bohler purchased them and plan in expanding the range and giving it the backup and service it deserves.I wondered what Selco were up to machine wise. Do they make all of Bohlers machines Tom?
To be fair.. Joe is a brilliant welder and could turn out similar welds on other machines. You have to admit Tom, it's the skill of the weldor, not the welder, that produced that weld
It's a bit radge that it has a pulse frequency up to 2500hz, despite only being lift-start!

I can see the bias but it's got some very good points. Efficiency and duty cycle. Job Memories - on a machine in this class, really nice, in fact a real bonus that not enough people seem to rate.
Does it have pulse on MMA mode? Out of interest...
To be fair.. Joe is a brilliant welder and could turn out similar welds on other machines.
I don't think it has MMA pulse unfortunately, perhaps something they could add in as a software update though.
Haha, yeah Joe's top notch. That's Joe's demonstration machine which gets tossed about in the van and put into the worse environments you can think of, it's also a good year old.Whoever done this weld on whatever machine is a top dog. Well done and respect. But I must say the letters and paint job on this brand new released bohler is crap. Considering the units are new in circulation and fresh I would like to expect the whole thing to look nice for at least a year and a half or a bit longer really. Hmmmmmm. Hope inside of BOHLER is better than the paint job....
Great question, without asking I wouldn't be able to tell you. What upgrades were in the last software update?
I agree I managed to purchase one the other week as a mig welder mainly but a back up tig of my other goes faulty and I'm amazed for the price tag as its lots better on the tig side than the esab equivalent but time will tell. I hate the torches so once the CK is attached I find myself using it as my main tig .Parweld have never made machines and definitely never claim their machines are UK made. That being said that 211DI is a great bit of kit. We've got one on the bench at the moment for a video we're making and the Synergic TIG lines in it are spectacular
