Hopefully for this repair it is just a small dint in the boot I’ve filled and a scrape down the bumper which is also paintedusually just ring the dealer with the chassis number and they will tell you , such things used to be on a sticker under the bonnet , these days just ring , but matching paint isnt just a rattly can and ten mins any more either.
Don’t have a clue put it on the car went to ride the jet ski on and it flew off and ran up the bumper into the bootMore to the point... how did the trailer manage to unhitch itself?
Sounds like you had a lucky escape.Don’t have a clue put it on the car went to ride the jet ski on and it flew off and ran up the bumper into the boot
It lives at my caravan when I use it so worst that would have happened is it rolling back Down the ramp into the water which would have been better than it hitting the car like it didSounds like you had a lucky escape.
Many years ago my mum worked for a fishmonger, he was driving home one day, stopped to fill up his Jag and realised his trailer was no longer on the back. Retraced his route and came across it parked in someone’s drive with the occupants of the house stood over it looking extremely bemused.
Gave them a whole salmon, hitched it up and off he went.
A mate had his car written off when a loose catering trailer careered into him.
