I've got an ongoing job for making hydroponic wall planters which involves making a *lot* of 60mm holes in pvc soil pipe.
Using a holesaw is a PITA: it grabs if run in forward, the chuck unscrews if run in reverse, and half the time the curved offcuts get stuck in the saw as they "spring" flat.
I've used a christmas tree/step bit to go up to 42mm (the biggest i can find) - which works *brilliantly*, but now i'm making them for bigger plantpots, i'm really struggling.
I can't find a stepdrill that will go up to 60mm.
Any ideas?
