That's why I asked the question. Is it a 2 meter bar of stock ? 2,000 meters, you might be there a while. We used to tape lengths of metal together in fours or sixes and cut them like that, slit the tape off the cut pieces and work away like that. Of course if you make a mistake , you multiply it.
Well not really it's a frame I am designing cutting slots out of Ali box section 38mm square and using these chunks milled out to hold rebar in place while it's welded."Chunks" meaning accurate 90 degree ends cuts not critical ?
I think that would take way longerThat is 29 or 30 pieces, yes?
I wouldn't hesitate to cut 50 x 50 square bar with my single phase Warco cold cut saw which has a blade diameter of 10" X 240 teeth.
With the cutting fluid on full flow to help remove the chips I would estimate it would take me only 60-90 seconds per cut.
Correct. My cut saw is a 210 blade but does not have coolant. Not sure how many teeth but it's a fine blade. That is 29 or 30 pieces, yes?

50 x 25 M/S bar only takes me 40 to 45 seconds per cut with my 10" diameter x 250 variable pitch teeth (not 240 as previously quoted) SHSS tin coated bladeI think that would take way longer
