Boring question! I've got a 40mm box section post to bolt to a wall to hand a 2x1gate from. I've got some chemical resin and 10mm studding to go into the brick work. My original plan was to drill thought the box section, one side big enough to fit a socket through and job done. My concern Is the weight involved the it's gojbf to bolt right on the last outer course of bricks. My next plan was to weld some angle iron onto the inside edge of the box section then bolting it to that, should move in to the next course of bricks, a better idea or am I over thinking it or any better suggestion?
