foxes was there first
why should you shoot them because you want your land in nice conditions for yourself
we or you encroached on there space not the other way around cant blame them
Not a chance mate. I’ve got a loony next door, we sure his mum is mummified in his garden shed, and a lady next to us that would love to kick off. Dagenhan the houses are piled on top of each other.

I have a wire mesh fence in my field and it has a hole cut in so the dog can get through and go for a crap regular on a night a fox comes through about 11 ish and the security alarm sounds as it passes and we see it on camera I could snare it at the fence but I have no reason to do so and just leave it be had I any livestock it would be a different matterThere is no way you'd get away with that in an urban garden
When we moved house to Pinner west London we were delighted at the family of foxes in the garden watching the cubs play about while mum was sunning herself out of the way on the shed roof. They soon became a pest destroying my gardening efforts so they had to go. An old fella I met at a country fayre told me to use male urine in patches around the garden. They had gone inside a few weeks. A good excuse for drinking lots of beer but popping out side for a wee, not in the rain though.
@Brad93 dont flop it out of foxys about, a bite on the tadger would hurt and keep A&E nurses amused for weeksWhen we moved into our house 4 years ago the previous owner hadn’t used the garden for years. There was a fox den in the corner , we used urine around the garden and that got rid of them

Live trap and dispatch elsewhere is your best option.
Whilst I agree with foxes needing to be controlled , I find it comical that as members of a species that has absolutely raped the earth, destroyed entire species for fun and cannot seem to go a year without blowing someone else up, we still have the gall to use the fact that animals can spread disease as an excuse to off them. I’m fairly sure that if the roles were reversed the human species wouldn’t last the week before we were eradicated for pest control reasons
As you may know from the gun thread I recently got my .223 setup. Only zero’d at 50 yards at the minute. Need to get zero’d at 100, then work out my drops for the BT.I had a .223 interaction with one last night, but in your situation I would get a live catch trap, and off it discretely.
You could used a surpressed shot gun, quite a common tool for pest controllers.
