Afternoon all,
Anyone used/got an Hitachi DH24DV sds drill? ive got the chance of buying a used but good condition one for a good price but i just wondered if anyone had any experience of them on here.
hi ive got a 24 volt sds drill probably the model your talking about , its been great no problems batteries aare still good after two years , even survived a 6' fall onto concrete
A Sparky I used to work with had one, he loved it for boring holes in wood and light masonary for conduit etc, but he had managed to wear out both batteries in under two years.....
It was the 3.0Ah one Hitch,i think it was Ni-Mh batteries,i decided against it in the end as the closer i looked at it the more worn it was and he let slip the batteries were'nt quite as good as they used to be.
I bought an AEG sds drill at B7Q for £40 (rrp £99.99) this morning,im not sure if all branched are clearing AEG stuff or just my local one but it'll do fine for what i need, and its mains aswell which isnt a great problem.
