I'm having a problem with my Axminster Pillar drill.
I cant remember the model and their website is down, A decent sized floor stander.
A while back I was trying to mitre some tubes using a hole saw. cue lots of juddering and the drill binding, and the chuck slipping on the spinny round thing. See I know my technical language.~
I have tried giving the chuck a clout with the rubber mallet to no avail.
now when I am drilling it slips when the drill starts to cut or break through.
A mate has suggested take the chuck off and use some loctite on the spinny round thing.
Any reccomendations appreciated.
Wow, a post from me that relates to workshop activity, busy again
