Afternoon all,
I am going to replace the cooker hood here at home. The present one is unvented so does nothing useful.
There's an outside wall about 4 feet left of the hood, so my plan is to core through above the cupboards and run duct along the top of them.
I've got a diamond core bit the right size with arbor (thanks B&Q clearance), and I've a 650w SDS drill, which whilst not a coring drill does have a clutch.
Do we reckon this will work? It's a double brick cavity wall, built 1965. Two layers of tile on the inside.
