This door is great in the summer, but in winter it will swell/move and I won’t be able to open it.
Just badly made I think?
Any suggestions on fixing this, or just increase all the gaps and buy a new one some day? I was thinking either steel braces of some sort or a couple of sheets of 18mm ply screwed to the inside but I’d like other opinions. I’m thinking of somehow insulating it too, not sure how yet, perhaps just a couple of insulation panels in a wooden frame I can screw in place over the winter when the doors are used less - thought it might be worth mentioning in case of any knock on effects.
Appreciate any advice.
