Hi,
I have a second hand 32L Clarke Blast Pot.
As soon as I pressurise the tank, Air and Media Start to flow out of the nozzle, even though both the side and media valve under the tank are closed?
I believe I am using it correctly.
1. Open Air Supply valve to charge the tank.
2. Open the throttle valve
3. Open the Abrasive Control Valve and adjust the flow of media.
Could both the media and throttle valves be leaking? Or would the air in the tank be forcing the media through the leaking media valve?
What size and where should I get replacement valves?
Modifications
I have built a DIY blast cabinet which the hose from the Blast Pot connects to, via a double male barbed gland, on the inside another piece of tubing is attached on on the end of this is the nozzle.
I have purchased and fitted a Tungsten Carbide 3mm nozzle but I now have no way of controlling the media at the nozzle, taking your hand in and out of the glove to then reach down under the pot is an absolute pain.
This is a DIY home job so don't want to be spending hundreds of pounds on foot pedals etc.
