This also worksUsually do my best work straight before a pay review, tends to peter off after that
That's what I'm like at workFirst thing in the morning for me. This morning I was up at six and dragged the flail mower out of the tractor shed to clobber the rushes in the field before they take over. First cut this year so flail right at back of the shed involved moving loads of clobber to be able to line the tractor up. All done by 10 am including putting various bit of plant like the JCB, log splitter, and some pallets of 'stuff' and forklift back.
Quick tea and toast for a late breakfast then I could start the real job for today - dismantle an old ledged and braced oak plank door, re-mill the timber and start making a much smaller door for my bore hole pump house.
I tend to fade about four in the afternoon and need to come in doors for a cup of tea, and quite possibly a nap !!!!!!!

Really envy morning people, don't have a problem getting up early but I'm not "with it" mentally until a few hours after.
