looking to replace an old wired camera system with a Durite wireless version...to avoid removing panels etc....but using the old wire to the camera to supply power to the new wireless cam
is there anything to be cautious of when combining 2 or 3 cores to supply power to the new wireless camera?
there's still power going to the camera just now with the wired version but thinking the wireless one will need more power....not cut the plug off yet but going by the plug looks like a 7 core cable so the wires must be pretty small....unless the ones currently supplying power are bigger than the rest
I may be overthinking this
another thought was replacing the plugs on either end of the cable to use another wired version but can just see problems with interference/shielding etc...??
