Evening guys,
I did post elsewhere on the forum about making face shields for the NHS, it's starting to go a bit mad, we delivered 50 to Leicester hospital on Monday and they love them, not only is it giving them protection but the fact that they're appreciated in this way is boosting their morale, I'm told this morning the staff were on a high again, this just makes it all so worth while.
I'm now getting requests for more so I started a crowd funding to help pay for materials, that's been going a couple of days and is over £1k now!
So much so we're trying to find a way to up production, I've secured enough materials to make 1000 visors but the bottle neck is the printer, if we can get a chunk more money we'll have enough to buy a printer and over double production. The issue is the printers are all selling out very quickly, very few places have any left in stock.
You might then think well what will happen to the printer after, that's sorted to, I've spoken to the local school who would never be able to afford one and they've confirmed they'd be able to use it within the computing national curriculum that they teach so we'll be donating it to them.
If any of you guys feel that you can donate a bit towards this it would be greatly appreciated.
