I'm going to build the frame of the new chicken shed this weekend, weather permitting. Construction will be 3x2 tanalised timber frame covered in heavy duty feather edge tanalised boards. On the inside it will be covered in 3mm plastic cold room sheet. No insulation, chickens have feathers so an empty 75mm gap between external boards and internal panelling.
The question is, is it worth putting a breather membrane between the frame and the external boarding. If so, it is the stuff also used for roofs? I have some of that left over from last year's extension.
Cheers
Andy
