Just been looking for a decent recipe for samosas.
And it got me thinking. I bet we have a plethora of quality home cooked food recipes we could share over the next few weeks to ensure we get a range of food and don't get fed up with the same old thing.
Wife was examining what we have in the cupboard, (all kinds of stuff), including a can of spam!
She bought it following a conversation one daft evening about how I've not had corned beer hash in years!
Something I occasionally ate as a student between living off textured vegetable protein in chillies as I was well poor.
Corner beer hash with a fried egg on top, it's got to be 25 years since I last ate that, wonder if it tastes as good as I remember.
This is an authentic recipe for Punjabi Samosas from scratch. You very rarely see these in restaurants, but common in Southall west London/QUOTE]
I stopped off in the high street a few years ago looking for food and ended up in one of the deli`s, the guy asked what I wanted and because I never recognised anything on offer I asked him to fill a bag with bits but nothing that would cause ringsting. An absolute treat, keep meaning to go back.

I’ll second that, wife makes a lot of soup & freezes it. One of the best is celeriac & bacon, very nice.Make soup, any kind you prefer - it can be a complete meal in a bowl.
Yeah but I was hoping for recipes rather than just suggestions.I’ll second that, wife makes a lot of soup & freezes it. One of the best is celeriac & bacon, very nice.
