My elderly parents live on a boat in a marina. The marina has WiFi but it’s very poor. They got an iPad a few years ago so we could FaceTime and so they could FaceTime my sister who lives in Australia. Over the years the WiFi has got worse and more and more people are trying to use it so they’ve now given up.
Obviously now more than ever we need to keep in touch!
I’m hoping I can get some kind of prepaid 4G WiFi router which I could set up at home and then post to them so they just need to plug it in and log on.
Can anyone recommending a simple solution to this? I’m not sure how much data they’d need but would probably only use FaceTime for maybe 2-4 hours per week and use a bit of data streaming music or browsing.
All advice appreciated.
