MMmm interesting. As I see so many motors geared with a belt etc do I take it that a direct connection to a roller is not going to work.Today I completed the second X axis motor mount and the Y axis mount.
Now I’ve just got to machine a new Z axis mount and I can start cabling the machine to the control cab.

They need to be close to the same depth each and my Evolution saw does not have a depth stop.
maybe you can put a little block of wood under the saw's motor? This will prevent you from cutting deeper.
should work if you're in a pinch
Thanks Maarten, I actually found the depth stop on the saw so it made short work of putting the slots in.
