Wait till Cutwel have another deal on their Korloy parting tools.
maybe not as good as kennametal or iscar but a third of the price.
Are they a lot cheaper ? I can't remember what they were at because the Iscar Tang are just superb especially for CNC, no need to worry about an insert being hauled out if you are a bit ambitious on the retract
Depends on the lathe I suppose but I have always gone for 32 blades and 3mm insert width except for the tiny Conect CNC I had, think I went for a 26 and 2mm on that. What’s the best width and depth to go for? 3mm or 2mm? 26mm or 32mm?
