You should buy that as well. Its a good machine, with the gear box, would sell on easily.
I entirely agree with this.@Richard. Saw my lathe running yesterday, and seeing how quiet and smooth it was compared to his Myford I think he would say if you’ve got the space and the money go for the Harrison.
If you haven’t got the space go for the Myford.
Myford are good machines and Richard gets a great finish out of his, like fantastic finish. But you are limited by a shorter bed and smaller spindle bore etc.
If you don't buy it I will. The motor is easy. Find the star point and reconfigure to delta.
Plenty of help here for you in all you will need to do.
Every Harrison 3 phase motor I have seen (and I have seen quite a few) will all wire star or delta. ie 240 or 400 volts.
I don't know what the hesitation is with the OP, he should have taken the hint and just bought it by now. I will say that if I knew where it was he would still be on the hunt for a new lathe.
