Sometimes even using a pressure tester to find that elusive leak doesn’t work, in that case I put a dye into the coolant , use the vehicle for a day or two then inspect the cooling system using a UV torch .
This.
Stick a pot of dye in. (Dont spill ANY)
Run for a few hours then shine a uv light around when it's dark.
It will show up vividly. You will see leaks from the ends of hoses even when they look dry.
I'm sure some leaks seal up when the system is cold and contracted. Leak a bit as it warms up then seal up again once hot and expanded!
I dont like k-seal as it tend to form lumps anywhere there is a lip or restriction in the cooling system or a pressure differential in parts.
The l200 has a water cooled turbo I think and you dont want a build up of it getting in there.
