Yep; independent suspension, split diff, visible pistons that moved, gears - hell it even had reclining ejector seats
I always wanted that set. If I remember rightly it has 4 wheel independent suspension?.

Yes wtf is a conical gear, they are bevel gears.Isn’t “worm screw” referring to the propellor rather than the “Hookes joint”? “Conical gears” I would call Bevel gears.
I would assume there would be QC for the complete product though. Maybe it's just me but I do have OCD.
As I remember, Meccano had all these types of gears, and correctly named as well. I consider myself lucky to have had some Meccano bits to play with, and some were handed down from my Dad, red and green paint instead of 1970's yellow and blue.
I don't get the attraction of Lego, as a kid I used to sneer at it when I was probly 9 years old..because it was for kids who couldn't use spanners..
Also, unlike Lego Meccano is environmentally friendly brass, mild steel and zinc which can be recyled
Speaking of meccano, last weekend I came across some pictures of a massive maccano type set my dad made from scratch. It's all from aluminium and we did a rough calculation that he drilled 15000 holes!
The chest was full and everything was motorised.

He made all this for my nephew. My dad had just come out of hospital after cancer OP and was bored.
