I find myself needing a plasma cutter, in the long run it will save me quite a bit of money, plus of course it is a new toy.
Looking around and all things considered I think the R-tech P30 C will be okay. I need to cut max of 8mm occasionally, once in a blue moon. Mostly it will be 4 and 6mm chequer plate. I am not making anything fancy I am making targets so they will get shot to bits and perfect edges are not really a requirement.
Having said that, I will be able to use it to cut up the 2 and 3mm sheet for my own use. I am spending quite a bit now on targets so it won't take long to break even.
The r-tech p30c looks like it will be perfect for the job as I will have a max of 16amps available so although the r-tech P50HT looks like t has more capacity I think this might be wasted. Anyone care to comment?
Thanks
