Brazing doesn't need to look tidy, it's more important than you get a good flow and build where required.Preheated the whole thing to ~200°c and brazed it up. Not my tidiest work...
That's basically my thinking behind it.I think it is a great job, Good experience and practice for when you really have no choice but to do a cast iron repair on something suitable in future.
