Re-check the fuel oil mix ration for the machine .. the silencer blocks up quickly with carbon if there is too much oil or high ash oil in the fuel .
I used to repair for a hire fleet of 35 plus two stroke chainsaws & discutters as well as lots of customers who owned their own machines ( we were a main agent for Sthil & Husquvana, I found that using what the manufacturer suggests & precisely at the right ratio is always far better than buying something that just says, " Universal two stroke oil 20 to 1 to 50 to 1 mix "
I mix the fuel myself and know it is good also only use 98 octane use Castrol synthetic oil which make it for Sthil. The problem is that I mostly used it before and very rarely ever used it at full throttle mostly up to about 3/4 only and only for short periods, not much need. I was away on site and the 'boss' decided to clean up, twice. Since then it dribbled out some oil from the exhaust, I now think she must of run it with the choke on a bit, as it had never done this before, however I didn't think much of it. It was only the second time she tried to start it that it was difficult to start and when I returned was difficult for me also. Since I had not contributed to this problem and all was fine when I used it previously, I assumed that there was a fuel problem or some debris in the fuel system and the symptom was lack of fuel. Well we know better now, anyway it starts first pull now and has a completely different note. I also let my smaller twin use it to cleanup and he only knows one throttle setting. It it too heavy for him to hols up and operate the throttle. God bless his heart he wants to do it so I let him
