i'm in the planning stages of building a trailer, roughly 8ft long (internal) by 6'4" wide.
i want it to be pretty secure - its going to be used as on-site tool storage - and to this end its going to be a 25mm shs frame covered in mild steel sheet.
i'm not really familiar with sheet work, so can someone give me an idea of what sort of thickness i'll need for security/robustness vs weight vs support spacing vs ease of working please?
i don't have any sheet metal machines: no folder, no guillotine.
i'm thinking 0.8, 1, or 1.2mm ?
also, best place to buy in 3m x 1.5m sheets? not galvanised.
