So I thought I'd just have a look in the loft at how I'm going to connect the new toilet to the new soil stack. It had one of these in the top to seal it temporarily,
That was until numb nuts here unscrewed it and it fell 4 meters straight down and round the bend at the bottom!!!
This pipe is buried in a new stud wall that separates the newly fitted kitchen and newly decorated lounge wall AARRRGGGHHH!
Some very loud colourful language escaped me that they could probably hear at the sewage works down that pipe!
Now to get it out!
I had a mag mount for flood lights so fixed an eyelet and some rope to it and tried fishing it out of the stack.......
It sometimes caught but got stuck at the join in bottom probably a hundred times but finally it came out!
