Reserved the last pair last night - fine, slept well on that.
A very different story today, "There is a problem with your reservation"
Really? So the problem here is that despite having taken a reservation they have not held on to the reservation
Not holding a reservation, Homebase, is one step nearer Anarchy in my book.
Any one in South London, they still have three or four in the Penge branch.Likewise.
Same at this end, text from the local store saying a problem, and a call from the Chelmsford branch that I was due to pass today anyway, a voicemail to say no stock. They've gone viral!

Good point Sir, hadn't thought of that. What is it with these companies advertising stock they don't hold, or store staff looking on eBay and seeing a profit to be made.
Never had luck with stock counts in all the diy sheds tbhI went into my local one today which showed 8 of the large F clamps in stock and numerous pairs of tin snips, nothing on the shelves at all. Asked the dozy lady behind the till and she said they discontinued all of that range and they might have it out the back but she doubts it the system is never right about stock and she wasn't willing to look for them.
This kind of mentality ladies and gents is why Homebase will disappear fairly soon, can't say I've ever had a good experience in there.
