I read that there is no facility for recycling the batteries from electric cars currently being produced and eventually we will be stuck with a load of them and nowhere to get rid unlike the present lead acid batteries which are totally recycled.
Lets use the time machine

If you took all the litium ion batteries being made this year for cars and used the solely for hand held electronics
They would cover about a couple of weeks of production
Cars aint the issue
Its mobile phones which have tiny weeny battries instead of the giant can of stuff like a leaf does
