Been looking at the spec on these Two, Edit: 235ic NOT 253ic as in title.
Both give good results for their size,
My real question is, which will run the longest,
40% of the welders use will be 6mm, the rest will be 2.5 to 3mm box section.
The Rebel offers 240 amps, and gives a duty cycle of 20% @ 235 amps,
then seems to loose ground at 100% mark offering 130 amps,
while the Fronius offers 220 amps with 30% duty @ 210 amp,
and 100% @ 150 amps.
Given the above numbers, while the Esab has more top end
it seems the Fronius has more to offer regarding a longer welding
periods between the 150 and 210 amp markers.
Does anyone agree with my conclusion here, does anyone use
either of these welders, and would you buy it again.
