I've been asked to look at waterproof multimeters and wondered if anyone has suggestions?
Google is doing its usual thing and including meters that dont have any reference to either waterproof or IP ratings even though its in my search
Budget is around £100 ex vat
Any help
looks to be a lowish end product with limited functions cost

Still over budget but the “standard” (non is) 28 is half the price...
why do you need a waterproof multimeter, surely you don't want water and electricity to get too close to each other
Plenty of iPad (et. al) bags out there which are waterproof. Personally, I'd be looking for a waterproof bag/case with sealed apertures for leads and use a push button meter. Depends on the intended usage really, range/function switching requirements will depend on what it is you're doing under water.

I really rate Rs pro gear.
It doesn’t mention it in description but it’s rated to IP67, it’s on picture if you look.

That's my thoughts too.
Definately an option, the current ones we use are the rotary type so a bag over a push button type might work.....
True, but we need to be able to measure mains voltage in outdoor cabinets and voltage/currents on the DC side and frequency is handy. There are test points on the kit that we stick the probes in so we dont close to mains voltage with damp hands, the problem is that after using a meter outside for a while the humidity gets in and plays havoc with the rotary switches.
