Always has good dealings with building control around here but I've heard horror stories.
and if you don't you just get an indemnity that costs 75 quid from solicitors for things that haven't them then they pass them on to the purchaser . that covers any future problems if they ariseRight up to the point when you go to sell your house and asked for certs.
If you go this route make sure there signed off.
Well on with the rest of the re-furb , told the wife we would be in by Xmas........
