Hi all
I have a LWB high top ford transit and scratching my head as to the best place to mount my Mosa TS300 welder genny.
I used to have a Lincoln Ranger which fitted behind the bulkhead if my sprinter but the exhaust and fuel filler neck are on the top of the machine as opposed to the left hand side(when looking at the front) of the Mosa!!
I considered cutting a hole in the van floor and piping the exhaust that way and step the Mosa away slightly from the bulkhead to fit a long funnel down the back when it comes to refuelling but don’t know if that is too much of a faff!
Another alternative is to make a frame and have it sat above the O/S/R wheel arch but then I have around 300kg sat on one side of the van. Although I’d have racking and gas bottles on the N/S I am not sure how it would fair up?
Do any of you fine gents have a Mosa and if so where do you mount yours and how does the van deal with it?
thanks
