I have a Dut hot foil press I picked up for £10 a couple of years ago. I’ve hardly used it, and am reaching the point of thinking of ‘repurposing’ it, and bits of it have already been earmarked for future projects. Looking it it today, I had a thought. What if I removed to heating element and block, and fitted underneath my little parts washer, carefully protected from the wet.
The controls could easily be fitted into a box away from splashes, and the temperature can be set from 90-260 centigrade.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this idea.
While typing this, I have remembered that I have a large food warmer which might lend itself even better to the job, and being waterproofed.
