They aren't much cop for hedge cutting.
I bought one, same happened. I took it back and after a minor argument they refunded me....I now have a chap that comes round and cuts it so I havent bothered buying another.I bought a Titan set from Screwfix. As I recall it came with an articulated trimmer arm and a bent shaft strimmer and they threw in a small chain saw pruner head for £125 all-in. It deals with our laurel hedges ok but I can't say I would recommend it as the carburettor failed after 18 months. I bought a better carb from China for £6 and it's running well now.

got a strimmer from them and they are a decent piece of kit
