I need to spend a day at yours playing with stuff!!
Your organisation in my neck o the woods have gone L200Going to have to disagree, both models are rubbish
They are so bad the organisation I work for are not getting anymore. Rangers were our go to model of truck. Very dissapointed in them. Ours get serviced as per Fords recommendations, basically they want for nothing and still breakdown regularly.
my navara is a king cab, the longer bed is far more useful, but with a top on it would be a nightmare, bad enough getting stuff of of the back of a double cab, if its right at the front!Have you thought about a king cab version, where you only have small seating area for passengers, most make them, much better load space ,but to small to use with 4 adults in reality ,worth checking out suitability tho.

We are going Toyota.
Of the current offerings its probably a wise choice. No horse in this race but I am surrounded by these pickups all day, the Toyota does appear to be a better put together work truck. The Mitzy is a better car orientated pickup, I suppose it all repends on what you expect of a truck. There`s a VW anorak that comes into the yard and the panels are so thin you could actually damage it with your finger, its also littered in easy to rip off plastic bits. I reckon a farmer would destroy most of the modern offerings in less than six months.

Of all the people I personally know with Anoraks, all of them are Farmers (well technically ). All use them for work too, so they don't get an easy life. Seem to stand up to it quite well .
You'll need more than day.I need to spend a day at yours playing with stuff!!
The ranger I had was a 3.2, very nice as it was pretty much brand new but not a work truck
I've found a couple of Isuzu's to look at today, taking the Mrs so she can buy lunch later
I had a 2.0bi turbo amarok and it was rubbish. It understeered in the wet and you didn’t have to provoke it to do that, had to be thrashed in every gear to get it to move with modern traffic. They have now switched to an izusu
Cousin had one, I have one, my brother has one. Our two are autos, cousins was manual.
All three drive better than any 4x4 I've ever driven bar a newer disco, and the engine is well grunty enough. All three of ours were 180hp versions. There must have definitely been something wrong with yours. Understeer? What's that?
I had mine mapped and it does 35mpg on a run, and about 27mpg towing something heavy. It's also permanent 4x4 with a diff lock option.
Yes they're are a bit too "nice" and overpriced for people who like to batter pickups to bits, but as a single vehicle, daily driver they are awesome, comfy, real motorway mile munchers, and they tow really well. Anyone who disagrees needs to drive mine with an ifor williams loaded with a combi drill on the back...
The other thing is, ALL of the newer pickups are huge and have big stupid sticky-out bonnets. The Amarok actually feels dainty in comparision. I bought mine off a 25 yearold slip of a girl who had had it for 5 years because, in her own words, "it drives just like a golf"
Anyways I'd never, ever have an L200, they're dated and really agricultural. Horrible handling. Suppose they're ok if you're going to batter it to death.
Yes to the Isuzu, and yes to the Navara (the snapping chassis problem is pretty much resolved now, it's just a thing to check now just like any other particular problem for a particular model).
The three "nice" driving ones on the road atm are the current-gen Navara, the current-gen Ranger, or the Amarok. Sure, they all have their pros and cons, like every vehicle does. But (ignoring the x-class) the rest of the pickups on the market still drive like tractors.
Having driven the Isuzu and L200 back to back, the Isuzu is far more agricultural
glad your pleased , I was given a lift the other day in a ranger, thankfully only about four miles, damn it shook the ******** out of me ! pictures of custom seat covers would be good.
That maybe the case but personally I think that it's the better built/more reliable one of the two.
Good luck with it anyways, only time will tell I guess.
