Put a slogging spanner on it.
Not usually much you cant undo with one of them... next option, blow it off with the gas
My only gripe with milwaukee gear is they are not that sturdy as they should be- batteries break open, tools dont hold batteries well enough, the rubber mouldings come apart if any oil comes close, etc. They are by far less engineered compared to any snap on i've tried but they do what they supposed to do !My mate has just sold all his snap on guns and his other kit and spent £3k on all new Milwaukee gear. He reckons the battery rattle guns are better than anything he’s tried. Too rich for me!
I have a Clarke CEW1000 too and bought it used for £35. It doesn’t get used often but I’ll never get rid.
View attachment 191216 This might be ur answer iv used them for areas I couldn get into with the gun or not enough space to turn a big bar and they work very well and not to expensive either
Never seen one of those, looks like a handy get out of jail bit of kit
Very handy as they apply a shock in the same way and impact does only slower and they fit in awkward spaces
What make is it? I know some are discouragingly expensive.....and it's a left hand thread. Some I've seen seem to offer a limited tightening torque, which of course in this case would limit their loosening power. Or am I, as usual, missing something?
Generally some great advice here! People who've launched previous assaults on this nut report that with the bike in gear, and someone standing on the brake, all a breaker bar/scaffold pole did was spin the wheel! That's why I thought of an impact wrench.
You sure it is a l/h thread?
Turns out I was wrong, just spotted they do a brushless angle grinder, I believe that's all though (for now). You knock Snap-on for not going brushless but Hilti are still brushed aren't they?
Is it off yet?
Yes, I have the OE workshop manual. And it's been mentioned elsewhere on the XR1200 forum.
....I need your boots, impact driver and motorcycle
Nice looking HD. BTWI'll be back
