I'd probably fit a 16A socket in/outside the house and just use a 16A extension lead?..my Kemppi runs happily off a 13A plug but then in the winter I have all sorts of other essential stuff going like heating!!!

Good to know Yamhon, I've got a repair to shed looming and extension lead the only way
Been wondering about that but your advice helps
Thanks Parm
Yeah, one of those things you learn but cant remember when. Know i can't
I need some shut eye, but if anyone electrically technical can advise re 16/32 amp sockets
Current welders work fine on 13amp socket but if i was to upgrade how easy is it to add higher capacity socket, done some electrical work at home before inc shower
Hopefully adding socket made easier by fact I'd only need a single socket and would be within 30cm of consumer unit
Night folks
A mig welder with argon/co2 gas is best. Dont use the small disposable bottles just sit and tip up five pound notes, it's way cheaper.~
13 amp plug on an extension lead has done me fine for 16 years.
I would say start there and see where you end up.
